Corona Del Mar State Beach

Corona Del Mar State Beach is popular with swimmers. Cliffs and a rock jetty that forms the east entrance to Newport Harbor frame the half-mile long sandy beach. The beach is also popular with surfers and divers.

Newport Municipal Beach
Balboa Boulevard / Oceanfront / 21st Street
Located on the Balboa Peninsula, this five-mile stretch of beach offers endless beach activities including swimming, sunbathing, skating, biking and surfing. The Newport Pier is located in this area and offers stunning views to the north, and looking south, you can see the Balboa Pier and Corona Del Mar beach.

Newport Harbor

One of the finest and most scenic small boat harbors in California. Boat slips for every type of recreational craft from rowboats to yachts. Special annual events including a Christmas Boat Parade and July 4th event. A favorite gathering place for family fun.

Whale Watching. Every year, from December through April, visitors delight in watching the migration of the California gray whales from Alaska to Mexico. Whale watching excursions offered out of both Dana Point and Newport Harbors.
